If I don't have work yet, which seems pretty likely, I will probably go to the free auction preview and panels by the designers in Pasadena on January 16th. On the one hand, I'm completely awed and I wish that I could have Apollo's watch or Starbuck's idols or personnel file. Roslin's gorgeous Armani or the Colonial Day dress. Or (dream big) the CIC nav console. On the other hand, where would I put such a thing? What would I do with it? Why would I want it? I have the DVDs (and will have more when they finally put the damn things out), I have pictures signed by the actors, I have friends I made through the fandom. That's the real legacy. My money (not that I have any) is better spent saving to go to England or buying a new book or splurging on lunch at Panera occasionally. I have what I really want out of BSG, and that's the memories.
