I'm not pleased that Dollhouse is cancelled (very happy about Eastwick, Paul Gross deserves so much better) but I do think that it wasn't as good as it could've been.

Sad about Dollhouse. Not so much about Eastwick. Seriously. I tried Eastwick. It could have had potential... but I couldnt stomach more than the first episode

I made it four whole episodes before the blatant anti-feminism killed me completely. I wanted to like it SO BADLY.

Tried half way through one ep of Eastwick and couldn't do it. Wanted to, but just couldn't. Dollhouse has me massively sad and pissed off, tho. :/

I feel like Dollhouse got its fair try. It never engaged me the way Buffy and Firefly did. It lacked the snappy dialogue that kept me so in love with other Joss shows. I think Eliza is a marvelous person, but inconsistency in the quality of the writing kept her from shining and made her look like a bad actress. We got a surprise second season, but I don't think there was ever any chance that there'd be a third.

But that's just my opinion
