bardic_ladyWoke up on schedule (5 hours of sleep, baby!), surfed the internets as per usual, and walked to Met for the strawberry shortcake festival. Unfortunately, the strawberry shortcake festival was postponed. Phooey. Settled for a tamale and a cupcake. Was actually a little disappointed by the cupcake. My grandma called so I talked to her for a bit. I think she's feeling a bit lonely since my parents are out of contact. My Aunt Sheila called me, too, because she was lonely and missing talking to my family. I guess everyone talks to my parents a lot...Walked home from the market, put away the frozen foods, and did the dishes. I want to be taking a shower, but my housemate, who reappeared while I was gone, has been in the bathroom for more than half an hour. He's a guy. I thought guys weren't supposed to take that long in the shower.
::10 minutes later:: And it turns out he wasn't in the bathroom, he had just left the door closed and the fan on...*rolled eyes*
So far, no sign that there will be anyone else in the house this summer. Just Andrew and me...
