So, family day did not turn out entirely as planned, but it was okay. Slept in, got up, went to lunch at In-n-Out. Thank goodness for decent hamburgers. Went to the park and played dink-dink ball and frisbee and bocce ball. Only a couple fights, so that was good. We came home, read a bit, and then mum and I played Scattergories for about two hours. I winned for I am just that awesome. We watched an ep of Nero Wolfe (note: I am bringing the first season up with me that we may watch it) and then Hitchhiker's Guide, which was surprisingly funny. I blew my mum's mind by pointing out that Zaphod was played by Guy from Galaxyquest and Flute/Thisbe from the Rupert Everett Midsummer. No one can deny that bad things are happening here and that it's not going to get any better. I feel like I should be here, with the family, not because I can do anything about it, but because someone has to be here when my mum starts crying randomly and my grandmum is worried. I have an ungodly early flight tomorrow, so I ought sleep, but I really don't know that I can.
