Back to the lounge. I halfway feel like I'm going to sleep here tonight. I don't like being away from the internet...

I finally managed to get my hands steady again. I haven't packed yet, but...I feel like I probably won't sleep much tonight anyway, so I have time. Also, not too much to pack, as I'm not checking luggage. I booked my shuttle, so that's one less thing to think about.

I wish there didn't have to be travel time between here and home. I just want to be there now. My mom needs support. So do I.

I stopped on the way back from Trimble to talk to the cat who lives outside University. He's never let me get near him before, but tonight he walked over to me and let me pet him and talk to him. Cats really do sense distress and react to it.

I find it amusing that Tom and I are sitting basically parallel to each other at opposite ends of the lounge IMing...
