No dishonesty

No gambling
No dancing
No working past 10:25 on a weeknight or midnight on weekends
Freshmen must be accompanied by a prayer captain or assistant, or upperclassman
Freshmen and sophomores may not use their cars to go to work
May not serve alcohol at work
May not make house-to-house sales
Dress Code
Hair cut in traditional, conservative style, not colored or highlighted
Hair neat and feminine (not too short or modern)
Sideburns no longer than past mid-ear
No necklaces, earrings or bracelets, except maximum of two pairs of lobe-only earrings
No hats indoors except in gym
No tattoos or body piercings
No Abercrombie & Fitch clothing
Never expose midriff
Sleeves required at all times
Necklines no lower than 4 fingers below collarbone
Hemlines no higher than bottom of knee
Loose-fitting clothing (3 inches of ease at bust and hips)
No low-riding pants
No sheer clothing unless over otherwise acceptable attire
Hose always worn
No combat, hiking or similar boots
No excessive makeup
Residence Hall Life
Must live in residence hall, unless living with parents or close relative, is over 23, is married and over 20, or is a graduate student
Must check out when leaving campus
Must meet for prayer every night, as a room or in a larger group
In room and quiet by 11PM
Lights out by midnight
Rooms kept tidy (inspections daily)
E-mail only through school provided and regulated campus system
All internet through school-filtered network
No wireless internet
Underclassmen may only use vehicles to drive home
Cell phone usage within proper etiquette parameters
No posters of movie/music/fashion stars
Personal photos must show appropriate physical contact
No new age, jazz, rock or country music
No contemporary Christian music
No TV's, DVD or VHS players
Computer DVD players may not be used to view movies
No video games rated T, M or A, or having elements of blood and gore, sensual or demonic themes, suggestive dress, bad language, or rock music
No mini-fridges or microwaves
No watching movies rated above G
All weapons turned in for storage
All pistols must have trigger locks
No fireworks

Date: 3/15/05 07:28 pm (UTC)Anyway I'm assuming that I wouldn't want to go here, if only because I suspect this is a Protestant university (I have several issues with Protestantism's many forms, but none with actual protestants). A lot of this makes no sense at all to me, and I'm a fairly conservative person.
