[livejournal.com profile] dogwoodblossom, if you can get a hold of Tales of the City, it might be a great thing for B-GLAD to show.

Either a miracle just happened or I just found one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I went to OIS after my study guide meeting to discuss the mouseover problem (some of you know about it, the rest of you...suffice it to say that it involves computer coding). And they were friendly. And helpful. And enthusiastic. Whoa. [livejournal.com profile] racetrack0 informs me that teh world = d00med. I'd rather look on the happy miracley side. The problem still isn't solved, but there are people working on it. Who want to be working on it because they think it's really cool. Rock on.

In other news, it's Midsummer. When I get home tonight, I intend to celebrate in my backyard. With music and wine and candles and stuff.

Huh. Well...huh.

Appearance change unsuccessful, will attempt again in a couple weeks.

Came home and spent a few minutes celebrating Midsummer in the backyard.

Finished Paris or Somewhere, which was adorable, if slightly predictable, until the last ten minutes when it suddenly went to all manner of confusing, nonsensical places...Huh. Have determined that Suspicious River is not something I want to watch alone. Am considering a double header of Slapshot 2 and Men with Brooms for the ultimate in Canadian sports.

I really want to do some iconning, but everytime I start, I run into all the stuff I don't have anymore and then I get depressed...Pfui.

I Cannot Hide What I Am

I must be sad when I have cause and smile
at no man's jests, eat when I have stomach and wait
for no man's leisure, sleep when I am drowsy and
tend on no man's business, laugh when I am merry and
claw no man in his humour...
I had rather be a canker in a hedge than a rose in
his grace, and it better fits my blood to be
disdained of all than to fashion a carriage to rob
love from any: in this, though I cannot be said to
be a flattering honest man, it must not be denied
but I am a plain-dealing villain. I am trusted with
a muzzle and enfranchised with a clog; therefore I
have decreed not to sing in my cage. If I had my
mouth, I would bite; if I had my liberty, I would do
my liking: in the meantime let me be that I am and
seek not to alter me.
