bardic_lady: (self-realisation)
As per usual, no win for me. I'll decide later whether or not I intend to stay on as technical director, though I suppose it won't really be my choice, will it? It'll be up to the new exec. board. I can't help being a little crushed, but this too shall pass.

Saw Battlestar miniseries, finally. Very good. *loves Starbuck*

::edit::
On the subject of [livejournal.com profile] lornelover's last post, I too took a blow to the head in stage combat today. A throw gone wrong that had me stumbling into a fall and then smacking the back of my head on the stage floor. Ow.

Anyway. Bed still leaking. May give up and sleep on floor.

Tere is officially back in. Thank goodness, as I'd be quite bereft without her.

Other than that, I'm talking my way out of depression and it's nice to know that I can.

Finally found the Mamboleo vid I've been searching for. Yay ridiculously peppy Canadian pop music!

And Geoff Proehl approved my independent study! It gets to happen! YAY!!!!!
Shall post more about it over the weekend, as I will be applying to all you marvelous people out there in LJ Land to help me!

I Cannot Hide What I Am

I must be sad when I have cause and smile
at no man's jests, eat when I have stomach and wait
for no man's leisure, sleep when I am drowsy and
tend on no man's business, laugh when I am merry and
claw no man in his humour...
I had rather be a canker in a hedge than a rose in
his grace, and it better fits my blood to be
disdained of all than to fashion a carriage to rob
love from any: in this, though I cannot be said to
be a flattering honest man, it must not be denied
but I am a plain-dealing villain. I am trusted with
a muzzle and enfranchised with a clog; therefore I
have decreed not to sing in my cage. If I had my
mouth, I would bite; if I had my liberty, I would do
my liking: in the meantime let me be that I am and
seek not to alter me.
