Well, it was an interesting morning...

Woke up. Went to class. No professor. We sat around for about ten minutes and then someone called his office. Turns out he thought it was Wednesday and he doesn't have class 'till 10 on Wednesdays...Geh. And we received another ghastly Keith James prompt...

"Explain where John Steinbeck went wrong in writing The Acts of King Arthur and His Noble Knights."

GAAAAAHHHHH!

Anyhoo, with luck and application, I should be able to finish my research paper before class at 2 so that I don't have to worry about it tonight.

I loved them. They gave me just enough direction to find something I was interested in enough to write about it. I mean, seriously, you can't find a good paper topic on how Steinbeck fucked up that book royal?

"Narrow?" There's a multitude of directions you could take it. And of course it's opinion--but you use fact to back it up. I'll send you a copy of my paper, if you want it to see where I went with it; I focused on a paucity of description and exposition.

I think I'm going to go with unoriginality and exclusion of the numerous other Arthur myths in favour of the narrow scope of Malory.
