My mum took me to see As You Like It at the Ahmanson tonight! It was very good, much, much better than R&J four years ago. The sets were beautifully done, very spare but effective, the lighting was excellent, though the moving lights were a little distracting in a couple of places, and the costumes were lovely. On whole, the acting was very good, though I didn't think much of the actress who played Rosalind, her delivery was very odd and made me feel like she was taking breaths in very odd places. Very enjoyable production though and excellent to see Shakespeare.
When we got home we realized that neither of us had a house key and so had to traipse about to find one. Ay me...
Now, must go have dinner. I'm hungry.

Dentist. Check.

Fell asleep in the chair waiting for him...Oops.
Am now stuck at my dad's office for a while and then it will be lunch and chiropractor and home to clean until leaving for Katella Deli. There will be wonderful, wonderful fish deli tonight. Mmmm...lox and barbecued cod and whitefish and bagels and cream cheese and coleslaw and kosher dill pickles and loads of olives and maybe a big frouffy dessert...Yummy...

Naptime now.

*sigh*

Oh, how I love chiropractics...I feel all warm and relaxed...

In other news, it's raining in LA again. Phooey. My BitTorrent download is going, has been going for about 24 hours. It's 15% done...I feel like I'm not going to get this...

Must clean room and pack. Want to curl up on my wonderfully comfy bed and sleep lots...

I Cannot Hide What I Am

I must be sad when I have cause and smile
at no man's jests, eat when I have stomach and wait
for no man's leisure, sleep when I am drowsy and
tend on no man's business, laugh when I am merry and
claw no man in his humour...
I had rather be a canker in a hedge than a rose in
his grace, and it better fits my blood to be
disdained of all than to fashion a carriage to rob
love from any: in this, though I cannot be said to
be a flattering honest man, it must not be denied
but I am a plain-dealing villain. I am trusted with
a muzzle and enfranchised with a clog; therefore I
have decreed not to sing in my cage. If I had my
mouth, I would bite; if I had my liberty, I would do
my liking: in the meantime let me be that I am and
seek not to alter me.
