I started writing a long drawn out piece about making deals and the devil and the road to hell and all manner of things like that. I realized part way in that that would likely be soundly reviled as emo nonsense, which it only sort of was. So, in place of that rather rubbishy musing on the nature of bargains, I will only say that I'm getting more work done now than I have since my freshman year and that is to be blessed, not cursed. I have a situation that a lot of people would be desperately grateful for and I am.
