I generally pick up 2 six-packs of beer every time i go out. doesn't mean i'll drink it all at once.

also hard stuff isn't meant to be drunk at once, just gradually. I think i've 5 of those, too.

you shouldn't assume, that's not really fair to him (although it sounds like he's been drunk a lot, so maybe your assumption IS fair. dunno. =P)
